Nissan Datsun has been making vehicles for generations that are powerful performers and stylish in design. This automobile manufacturer started out as two separate companies and was combined together in 1933 when Nissan took control of Datsun. In today’s market just the Nissan name is usually used.

The Datsun that is most desired by collectors is the 2000 Roadster and was the first Japanese sports car to come with a 5 speed. It had a robust 150 hp engines and production was limited to 1,000. The first 10 were lightweight versions made for racing. Nissan is always changing and designing new models to enhance a person’s driving experience. It the past 10 years they have launched 10 all new model in markets around the world. They even reintroduced the popular Z models.

Nissan is developing cars for the future that will be eco-friendly and have zero emissions. They are always thinking ahead.

Datsun was an automobile manufacturer and in 1933 Nissan Motor Company took control of it. The Datsun brand was discontinued in 1986. The Datsun name is most famous for the sports cars referred to as the Fairlady roadsters and the 240Z coupes. In 1970 Datsun introduced the “Z” models of cars. This vehicle offered European performance and at a reasonable price. The 240Z became the best selling sports car in the world. In the 70’s Nissan continued to gain popularity and they also established themselves on the racetrack. Since the “Z” model was so popular recently they have reintroduced the Z models in the US.

Nissan is also looking into the future and has designed an electric car called the Nissan leaf and is a zero emission electric car. It is a hatchback that can reach speeds up to 90 miles per hour. This vehicle is designed to be 100% eco-friendly.
